Tyler's Going to the Super Bowl

I am a very proud mom today. Tyler played the last playoff game yesterday and after 4 overtimes they won and now they are going to the Super Bowl! I can not tell you how proud I felt yesterday when my boy recovered a fumble sending them into a third overtime. He jumped up with the ball and did his signature chest pound. I about cried! I have never felt as competitive as I felt yesterday. It was really quite embarrassing now that I think of it. If wish failure on the opposing team and sometime even yell that out, what a terrible thing competition does to you. The way I see it these boys are in a full contact sport with pads and helmets so when I yell at Tyler to "Get me a Quarterback!" it should be acceptable! LOL! I really do not mean bodily harm, most of the time! :) This is getting worse and worse! Oh-well just know I love all these kids I just want mine to win!

LeRay you have got to back me up on this one!!

Aggie Infestation!

To steal a quote from a friend at church, "It was a good day to gloat at our Aggie Infested church today!" Yes, I must admit Baylor fans do not get many opportunities to gloat about football victories so I am taking full advantage. The Baylor Bears beat TAMU yesterday by 20 points! The Aggies are terrible this year and have successfully made it to the bottom of the Big 12, allowing Baylor to move up just a bit. :) It is easy to be a football fan of a school like UT or TAMU because they repeatedly have successful seasons. Being a Baylor fan is a little harder. Year after year we show our support and then get disappointed by loss after loss. However, my friend mark my words the tides are turning. Baylor just might be a force to reckon with in the next few years. Of course they have to over come four top ten teams two of which fight for the number one place week after week. (Guns Up! Hook 'em Horns!) Maybe some day in the future I might be writing about our plans to attend the Baylor Bowl game. (One can always dream, right??)
