Casualties of Field Day
Today was the big day that the kids look forward to all year... Field Day! I will admit as a teacher I also looked forward to it. It was a time to just play and be a big kid and it was ok. It also allowed for my competitive personality to come out just a bit. (LeRay?) This year I was not able to go play with my boys, but that did not slow them down. As you can tell from the pictures, Field Day was a success!

Hudson starts kindergarten next year and I am so looking forward to these exciting days. They must have had such a great day.
Whew!! They played hard!! I remember Field Day "back in the day." I wasn't always the best at the games, but they sure were fun!
It was a blast. I think I am the only teacher that actually played some of the games with the kids! I even ran the 50 yard dash and got beat by one of my kids! It was fun!
Poor Joshua played all day and went straight to a baseball game! No rest for the weary.
